As mentioned earlier, God was working through Our Lady,
as She gently helped the children to show thousands of people
that something truly beautiful and supernatural was happening
at Fatima from May through August, 1917. The supernatural
effect was especially impressive in August, because the
children were not even able to be with the crowd for the
expected apparition, but what God showed them at solar noon
at Fatima’s cove
filled them with joy and greater belief anyway.
Also by September, private miracles had been occurring locally, after various people in the Fatima area had enough faith in the children’s claims to ask them to pray for the end of their specific problems.
