At one point in Our Lady’s apparition to the three children during
the Miracle of the Sun on Oct 13th, she appeared to them as Our
Lady of Mt. Carmel while holding the Brown Scapular for them to see.
They each realized that she was stressing the Scapular’s importance
for everyone.

- ANYONE can wear a Brown Scapular; it is NOT and never has been
a talisman. Its use is by God’s design through Our Lady,
and its biblical origins are in the
OLD Testament . Graces received might be different if someone wears a Scapular but is not Catholic, yet the graces are there for someone who will accept and honor the meaning and purpose of the Scapular. - In her memoirs, Sr. Lucia tells us that
the Rosary and the Brown Scapular are inseparable , and both are powerful weapons at everyone’s disposal, weapons that we will likely need even more as the years unfold.
