God’s victory is assured, but WE must choose – good or
evil – and know what to do if we support God’s plan.
Thus God’s warnings at Fatima, as described previously,
become a “CALL TO ACTION” for everyone, and as the Fatima
miracles and apparitions ended on October 13, 1917, this
was only the BEGINNING of Fatima’s importance. More than
anything, God calls us through Our Lady at Fatima to repent
and reform our lives, according to Gospel precepts.
-
Our Lady also warned the three children at Fatima about
serious global consequences . These evils would occurIF: - too few people amended their lives
- the Holy Father failed to consecrate Russia by name to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart using one prayer in union with all the bishops of the world on the same day and (if possible) at the same time that day (after Our Lady would return with this request from God, which she did at Tuy, Spain on June 13, 1929).
-
Our Blessed Lord Himself appeared to Sr. Lucy at Rianjo,
Spain in August, 1931 to:
- express
disappointment that His requests through Our Lady had not yet been honored. - warn the clergy of
dire consequences if they continued to ignore His requests through Our Lady.
- express
-
Consider some
important facts about Our Blessed Lord’s 1931 appearance to Sr. Lucia at Rianjo, Spain. Jesus came to her:- one month before Japan began its series of invasions (on 18 September 1931) into the province of Manchuria in China, and the early hostilities leading to World War II thus began
- less than one year before the Stalin-induced Holodomor in Ukraine.
-
Today’s clergy and we as laity have also largely ignored the
words of warning
from our Blessed Lord Himself to Sr. Lucia in 1931, during which
He warned His ministers that if they continued to ignore His
requests, they would meet a fate similar to that of the Kings
of France, who, in 1689, were given 100 years to consecrate their
kingdom to His Sacred Heart. They refused and the monarchy fell
exactly 100 years later in 1789. If Our Blessed Lord metes out
the same justice for his clergy because they don’t consecrate
Russia
by name to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart, then their 100 years would end on June 13, 2029.Please do NOT misunderstand: No one is referring to the end of the world on this or any other date, but Christ Himself made this potential comparison when He spoke to Sr. Lucia. King Louis XVI of France met destruction 100 years after He and his predecessors refused to consecrate France to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. In 1931, Christ then warns the clergy of a similar fate if they do not consecrate Russia to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart. And His concern was great when the consecration of Russia was delayed even two years. What must His concern be like today? We must remember that:- only God Himself knows the future
- our own personal end could come today or tomorrow.
Are we prepared through the Sacraments of the Church? - prayers and sacrifices from enough people could convince God to grant us that period of true peace, but WE MUST:
- no longer ignore the needs of our clergy
- follow God’s plan through Our Lady at Fatima (described above).
- Will ADDITIONAL good people be martyred?
- Will many nations be utterly destroyed and many or all
of their people be killed? Our Lady said that if her requests
weren’t heeded, then Russia “will spread her errors throughout
the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good
will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer,
various nations
will be annihilated .” - World history and current events since 1917 certainly indicate that these future evils are possible because of the level of hatred in today’s world combined with our levels of technology that can be used accidentally or by those who hate and wish to destroy others.
-
When seen through the lens of Our Lady’s words at Fatima, we should consider:
- that almost ALL of the organized death, destruction, and social upheavals that we have seen since 1917 have been due to our failure to obey God’s requests through Our Lady.
- doing ALL that God asks of us as individuals through Our Lady at Fatima.
- contacting our priests, bishops, archbishops, and the
Holy Father to respectfully ask all of them to work with the
Holy Father and help him to consider consecrating Russia
by name to Our Lady’s Immaculate heart:
- in union with ALL the bishops of the world
- on a single day at the same time
- using a single prayer that is prayed worldwide by each bishop or archbishop of EVERY diocese and archdiocese.
