Fatima for Today and the Future

God has given us the power through Our Lady to save souls and obtain a period of true peace in the world. Will you help??

Here’s how, as emphasized by Our Lady at Fatima:
  1. Daily rosary
  2. Enroll in and wear the Brown Scapular
  3. Attend the Five First Saturdays of Reparation

    4. Our Lady often told the children at Fatima that we should cling to her Immaculate Heart to lead each of us closer to God and to do this most perfectly by praying the daily rosary. She also told them that she would return later with God’s request for reparation to her Immaculate Heart.

  4. Accept and try to better understand the reality of Purgatory

    During Our Lady’s First Fatima Apparition in May, 1917, she assured the three children that they would go to heaven. The children then asked Our Lady if Amelia, a friend of theirs, was in heaven. Our Lady said that Amelia would be in Purgatory until the end of the world!
  5. Return to or remain in a state of grace and routinely use the Sacrament of Confession/Reconciliation
  6. Pray daily (besides the rosary)
  7. We must remember what Our Lady told the three children: Impurity, which pertains to the 6th and 9th Commandments, is the main reason why so many people go to hell IF:
    • these sins are NOT confessed within the Sacrament of Reconciliation
    • the penitent does not then TRY to avoid mortal sins.
  8. Routinely offer our daily duties, whatever they might be and regardless of how “small” they seem, AND endure unavoidable sufferings - large or small - in a state of grace while offering our duties and suffering(s) to God to help save souls.

  9. Pray and work for the consecration of Russia BY NAME to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart.
  10. We should try to share every possible aspect of the Fatima events, messages, and warnings with others, so that they, too, might share them further and live as God commands.
God’s words through Our Lady can always be trusted, and many of the Fatima prophesies have been progressively fulfilled.

Be encouraged and share the evidence: Let the examples in the page linked immediately above encourage everyone to remember God’s desires through Our Lady at Fatima. Share them with others so that ALL might believe the authenticity of the Fatima apparitions and God’s (still unfulfilled) commands to us through Our Lady at Fatima. It’s our job to help fulfill them.

Considerations for the future??

God permitted the Fatima apparitions and Our Lady’s words to us there to be a blessing and a reminder for us to join the fight against this much greater evil now seen and experienced in our day.

As we close Fatima’s centenary year, we should mention Church-approved messages from Our Lady at Akita, Japan on October 13, 1973, exactly 56 years to the day after the Miracle of the Sun. God permitted at least one miraculous cure at Akita for Sr. Agnes Sasagawa, and Our Lady told Sr. Agnes that she was sad and then foretold various types of chastisements that would befall the world if people did not repent and reform their lives.

SO WHAT SHOULD WE DO? LIVE God's plan for us...

Our Lady’s serious warnings at Akita leave us with a call to action that is just as strong as that from Our Lady’s apparitions at Fatima and her previous warnings elsewhere.

Remember:
  • St. Augustine’s words: Pray as though everything depended on God. Work as though everything depended on you.
  • the conclusion of St. Teresa of Avila’s quote: “Christ has no body now on earth but yours”.

Unless we honor God’s requests through Our Lady at Fatima, we aren’t doing all that we should to literally help save Christian life and the world from the rampant abuses of technology and the rejection of God’s truths, while these countless means of rejection offend Him daily and destroy individual lives and eternal souls, and perhaps the entire world.

If all is done as God asks, then a miraculous conversion for Russia and the whole world will occur, and the victory that Our Lady of Guadalupe won starting in 1531 will look like a “warm-up act” even though, because of her image, more than 10 million Aztecs converted to the Catholic Faith in the 10 years that followed.

May all of God’s desires through Our Lady at Fatima finally be fulfilled; may we help to do this in whatever ways we can and should.
